Macarena Simari Birkner the Argentine alpine skier has competed in 4 winter Olympics including Sochi. Aged 29 and born in San Carlos de Bariloche Argentina, in the 2005 world cup she was placed 20th in the combined for women. Weighing 58 kgs and 1.68 m tall she has participated in most skiing events in the past 3 winter games. Specializing in the slalom grand slalom downhill and super g, she has set a record of sorts for having competed all five events in two successive winter Olympics. She has a child Guadalupe from her relationship with British skier Noel Baxter.
