Chinese residents in Costa Rica cook Cantonese fried rice during Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations in Chinatown in San Jose February 12, 2013. Some 52 chefs from various Chinese restaurants in Costa Rica cooked the world s largest Cantonese fried rice, which weighed 1,345kg (2,965 lbs), and served over 7,000 people, according to Isabel Yung, President of the Chinese Residents Association in San Jose. The event was attended by a judge from the Guinness Book of World Records who certified the effort.
