What happened to the dinosaurs

During the last years of the Cretaceous Period, Earth became much cooler and drier. The dinosaurs could not adapt themselves to this environmental changes and became extinct. Many volcanic eruptions and asteroid attacks were also responsible for the climatic shift which also lead to the extinction of dinosaurs.
