What is the function of blood in human body

The blood is responsible for carrying oxygen from lungs to various body tissues. Oxygen also controls the flow of nutrients, hormones and enzymes during metabolism. It also controls water content, regulates our body temperature and is responsible in blood clotting. Blood contains immunity building antibodies and white cells which prevent any diseases in the human body. Thus it is very vital for living.
