Bandit Queen

Bandit Queen is a 1994 Indian film based upon the life of Phoolan Devi. It was directed by Shekhar Kapur and starred Seema Biswas as the title character.The film Bandit Queen shows how a young girl is mercilessly exploited sexually and how she seeks revenge by turning into a dangerous bandit. This film went on to win three National Awards and other Filmfare Awards.
