This film was released in 1957 starring Dilip Kumar, Vyjayanthimala, Ajit and Jeevan. Originally filmed in black and white, the film was colourized and re-released on 3 August 2007The story revolves around a group of tongawallahs whose livelihood is in danger when bus services begin operating in town. Their determination to overcome their troubles through a competition was an inspiration to the audiences.
