The Eden Gardens cricket stadium is situated in the city of Kolkata in India and after 1934 it has become the centre of international cricket when England played a cricket match with India in this stadium. In the list of Top 10 Best Cricket Stadiums in the World this is the second biggest ground in the world after Melbourne cricket ground. Total Capacity of the Eden Gardens is nearly about 90,000 and established in 1864. It has also performed some hosting responsibilities of some sort of interesting games in world cricket like in 1987 World Cup match which was played in between Pakistan and India where India won by 2 wickets. There is also some sportsmanship failures occurred in this ground. In 1996 world cup semifinal match was played in between India and Sri Lanka and when Sri Lanka was going to win the match, crowed started throwing stuff in stadium and after that ICC intervened and Sri Lanka won the match.
