Bending the knees (not the back), the second person catches the right heel and lifts the leg until the standing partner feels a comfortable stretch and the standing leg stays firm. Extremity of stretch won't help mobility; being able to maintain the stretch long enough for the body to accept the movement is more important. Now do the other leg. Swap over.
