Persimmon is rich in vitamin A, C, the B vitamins. In the minerals department, it is densepacked with calcium, potassium, iron, manganese, phosphorus and copper. Persimmons are multitrunked or singlestemmed deciduous trees, which may grow up to 25 ft in height. They grow best in areas that have moderate winters and relatively mild summers.
