Based around the L. Ron Hubbard novel and starring John Travolta, the movie wasn t only awful but it was also steeped in fraud and criticism. From its association with Scientology to financial fraud by its production company, Battlefield Earth took home the Worst Film of the Decade award at the 30th Golden Raspberries.
