What to Put on the Nightstands

Keep your nightstand decor to a minimum. It should be a functional space, not a display stand. Think lamp, a stack of your favorite books or an e reader, and a clock. Even though the nightstand shown here is gorgeous to look at, there not even space for a glass of water.
