Aston Martin Rapide S

December 23, 2013: Aston Martin, the ultra luxury carmaker has previewed the Rapide S in South India. The four door luxury car will replace the current model sold in India. The vehicle is already available in European nations and America as well, and it has been priced at Rs. 4.4 crore (ex showroom, Mumbai). The increase in price is due to the rise in exchange rate of pounds and customs duty, which has been raised from 110 per cent to 175 per cent. Under the hood, the Rapide S gets the 6.0 litre V12 engine that churns out a maximum power output of 558bhp and 620Nm of peak torque. It accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in just 4.9 seconds.
