Paulina Porizkova

Paulina Porizkova, a Czech born model and actress made history back in the mid 1980s when she became the first woman from Central Europe (and a country under a communist regime) to be on the cover of the 1984 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. She was also the second woman after Christie Brinkley to appear on the swimsuit issues front cover twice, in 1984 and 1985.
