Whether yours is like the shallow Michael Scott or more i notune with the Devil Wears Prada, most of us have had to deal with bosses at some point during our lives. While some bosses are supportive, fair and understanding, others can make life at work downright difficult.But love em or leave em, October 16th is dedicated to bosses it National Boss Day. Patricia Bays Haroski, a secretary with State Farm Insurance, is credited for starting National Boss Day back in 1958. In order to show appreciation for bosses and improve the relationships between boss and employee, she registered the holiday with the United States Chamber of Commerce. She picked October 16th because it was her father birthday. Today, National Boss Day, sometimes called Bosses Day, is celebrated throughout the USA as well as other countries.
