Overlook Hotel in The Shining Timberline Lodge Oregon

One of the scariest movies to come out in the 1980s was Stanley Kubricks psychological supernatural thriller, The Shining. The movie portrayed one of legendary actor Jack Nicholsons most memorable and terrifying performances as the crazy Jack Torrance. The picture shows the hotel that got burned down at the end of the movie. The place was an actual hotel called the Overlook Hotel which was located in Timberline Lodge, Oregon. If you are looking for a movie that can scare the living daylights out of you, The Shining is one of those movies that you should never see alone. The feeling of dread and isolation can be felt already from the looks of the hotel alone.
