Marissa Mayer

Marissa Ann Mayer is the present CEO and President of Yahoo from July 2012. Mayer was born in Wausau, Wisconsin. She graduated with honours with a B.S. in symbolic systems and an M.S. in computer science from Stanford University. Mayer interned in SRI International and Ubilab, UBS s research lab based in Zurich, Switzerland. The Illinois Institute of Technology honoured Mayer with a honoris causa doctorate degree recognizing her work in the field of search. Previously she worked as a key spokesperson and long time executive for Google. She has been ranked by Fortune magazine as eighth on United States most powerful businesswomen list of 2013.
