Botticelli: Allegoria della Primavera (1478) - Uffizi, Firenze

The Primavera is a painting tempera on panel of Sandro Botticelli, dating back to 1482 or so and kept in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence .This is the masterpiece of the artist, as well as one of the most famous works of the Italian Renaissance . The pride of the gallery, was perhaps formerly pendant with the equally famous Birth of Venus , with which it shares the historical provenance, size, and some philosophical references.
