SAMBADROME

The purposebuilt area in downtown Rio de Janeiro features the annual samba school parade competitions. Built in 1984, the Sambadrome consists of 700m stretch of Marqu?s de Sapuca? Street, with beaches on both sides, and a capacity to hold a massive crowd of 90,000 people.
