LARGO DE PELOURINHO

Listed as UNESCOs World Heritage, the street is located in the heart of the oldest part of the city of Salvador, Bahia. It is believed that the steep paths of the city were once the center for slave auction. The city itself offers a vivid mixture of architectural styles of European, African and Amerindian cultures.
