High Pressure Filter
Precautions while using CNG
High Pressure Filter
The high pressure filter is located in the FMM
and is plumbed between the manifold and the
solenoid valve. The high pressure filter purifies
the fuel by removing moisture and
contaminants.
The high pressure filter element has an
efficiency rating of 1 micron. It should be
changed with every oil change or once every
3000 miles, whichever occurs first.
When re assembling the HP filter, apply a
silicone based spray lubricant on the filter bowl
threads. DO NOT allow the lube to contaminate
the filter or O rings.
