K2, also knows as Mount Godwin Austen, the second highest mountain on planet earth, located in BaltistanGilgit region of northern Pakistan. The Elevation of this peak is 8611 meters. The highest point above sea level in Karakoram Range and Pakistan is K2.Its impossible to climb K2 in winters, unlike Annapurna.
