Which plants are found in seawater

A variety of sea grasses are found in sea water. These are rooted in the sandy sea beds and even bear flowers and cover wide expanses like a meadow. The plants have long and narrow leaves which are green. Since they need sunlight for photosynthesis, this grass is commonly found in lighted or photic sea zones or around the shallow and protected coastal waters. The plants add oxygen to the air and protect the shoreline from being eroded.
