Vaclav Masek 1962

In Czechoslovakias 31 World Cup loss to Mexico in 1962, Czechoslovakia striker Vaclav Masek scored the teams only goal after only 16 seconds of play, the fastest goal in World Cup history until 40 years later, when his record was beaten by Hakan of Turkey, by scoring after 11 seconds in the 3rd place match of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
