Matt LeBlanc was a carpenter
Matt LeBlanc was born and brought up in Newton, Massachusetts. He hails from a working-class family. His father was a mechanic while his grandfather was a carpenter. While living with his mother he attended a technical vocation high school where he specialized in carpentry. At 18 years of age he moved to Florida to live with his father. Soon after which he moved to New York to grab a few modeling assignments and television commercials for brands like Levi Jeans and Coke. In the year 1989 he moved to Hollywood where he worked in many short TV series before grabbing the role of Joey Tribbiani of Friends.
