his variety is the best known as sour cherry. It is mostlycanned or frozen for use as pie filling or sauce. They are grown mostly in the eastern andMidwestern states. Cherries contain melatonin which is five times more than the blackberries, strawberries and helps cure insomnia (which is a sleep deficiency) and maintaining healthy joint function.
