LAKE EYRE

Officially known as Kati Thanda, Lake Eyre is located in central Australia and is the lowest natural point in the country. During the rainy season, the lake is filled by rivers flowing into the basin and becomes the largest seasonal lake in Australia. (Pictured) A flooded Lake Eyre after heavy rains.
