Moving Literature

These two designs from David Garcia playfully twist our perceptions of reading. The first, Archive I, is a balanced library the readers chair is elevated, and the library has to be at least as heavy as the reader for the chair to remain in its heightened position. The round library, Archive II, is a throwback to the traveling libraries of days gone by a simple concept that invites users to take their library with them as they explore the world with a book in hand.
