Lightweight 27 3 (22) Last Year s Ranking: 77 Status Report: Katsidis turned in his typically gutsy performance in a losing effort against Juan Manuel Marquez (KO by 9) in November. Still, Katsidis is tremendously improved over the fighter who lost to Joel Casamayor and Juan Diaz in 2008. Too bad for him exciting rarely beats great. Future: As long as his skin and spirit hold up, Katsidis will make a living bleeding all over the place and knocking second tier guys into next week. There are worse ways to make a buck.
