Take a temperature with a digital thermometer

Take an axillary temperature under the arm by placing the tip of the thermometer into the hollow of the armpit. Hold the arm across the body until the thermometer beeps. Perform an oral temperature by placing the tip of the thermometer under the tongue and holding it there until the thermometer beeps.
