SCARIEST THE ISLAND OF THE DOLLS MEXICO

The Telegraph lists La Isla de las Mu?ecas or the Island of the Dolls in Xochimilco as one of the scariest places on Earth. The island is filled with old tattered dolls hanging from the trees. Legend has it that after a young girl drowned in a nearby canal the islands caretaker Julian Santana Barrera began collecting discarded dolls to ward off evil spirits.
