Pepper plant is native to India and it is found in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Konkan and Assam. In South East Asia it is found in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. These fruits are harvested during the months of December to April depending upon the climate surrounding the plant.
