Gel Ink Pen Troubles

You have just bought a pack of gel ink pens in all lovely colors like tea brown, lime green, light blue, red and sparkling black. But for some reason these so called fantastic pens brightness tends to fade away with time. What is use of these gel pens then? You have to complete that project overnight now and your teacher wants it to be all colorful and eye catchy. But with these gel pens, how can your project remain attractive till tomorrow? Plus, they get smudged so easily. Oh Why wont these gel pens dry as quickly as normal ones? Parents please understand at least this problem
