Turn on Facebook Secure Browsing

Facebook now allows users to browse the social network over a secure connection called https. By default, this option is turned off, but you can easily turn it on by going to your Account Settings page and clicking Security on the left sidebar. Next, click Edit to the right of Secure Browsing and check, Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) when possible. When you click the Save changes button, youre done. Turning on secure browsing will make it harder for hackers to steal your Facebook login information when you are using Facebook on a public wifi network. It basically encrypts the data you send to Facebook.
