Johari Bazaar Jaipur

As the name suggests, this ancient market in the pink city of Jaipur is comprised of hundreds of ancestral shops specializing in Rajasthani jewelry. You will not only find traditional jewelries like Kundan, Meenakari , Thewa and Polki here, but intricate works of precious and semi precious stones as well. The origin of Johari Bazaar can be dated back to 1727 when the city of Jaipur came into being. The bazaar was proclaimed as the main shopping market of the town and has since retained its primacy.
