Beat Feuz

Beat Feuz the world class alpine skier was born in Schangnau. Although Feuz debuted in 2006, injuries kept him away till 2011. At his first major world championship he was placed 9th. Thereafter it was victory and a second podium stand at the world cup 2011 in Kwitfjell in Norway. Feuz had already secured four podium positions in the 2012 seasons where he won silver in the downhill at Lake Louise. Till 2012he had made 13 podiums and 4 major victories. Unfortunately he had missed the 2013 seasons due to knee injury but hopes to make a comeback in 2014.
