How to Select and Store
While buying Rambutan, look for the fresh ones which are bright red or yellow in colour. The spines should be firm. Never choose a Rambutan with bruises as it may be a sign of damaged or over ripped fruit. It can be stored at room temperature for a couple of days. Refrigerating the fruits give them a life span of a week or so. It should be ideally wrapped in a paper towel or perforated plastic bag.
