Rules to play Roller Soccer
A semi circle of 5 metres radius from the centre of each goal line.
B Penalty Mark
A penalty mark is at a point 6 metres from the centre of each goal.
C Goal
The goals are 3.78 metres wide and 1.22 metres high
b There is no designated goalkeeper. Any number of onfield skaters may tend the goal but the use of handsarms is strictly forbidden and will result in either a free kick if the offence is outside the penalty area or a penalty kick inside the penalty area in favour of the opposing side.
c Substitutions. All substitutions not in the field of play must remain out of the playing area until a substituting onfield skater has left the field. There is no limited to the number of substitutions however each one must occur at the entrance to the sports hall. Under no circumstances should a team have more than 4 skaters on the playing area at any one time. The match referee will deal with such instances as and how he or she feels fit.
b The wearing of wrist, knee and elbow pads is optional but strongly recommended.
c Teams shall wear different coloured t shirts. In the instance of similar colours, the match referee will toss a coin to determine which team has precedence
This official shall
a record goals scored;
b act as timekeeper and signify half time and full time by an agreed signal;
c suspend time on the referees instructions for all stoppages and add that time to the end of each half.
d supervise the use of
a allowance shall be made in either period for time lost through stoppages as decided by the referee and recorded by the timekeeper if appointed;
b the duration of either half shall be extended to enable a penalty kick to be taken. At half time the interval shall not exceed two 2 minutes except by consent of the referee.
b Play shall be started by the referee dropping the ball on to the centre mark between one skater from each side, each of whom shall stand not less than 1 metre from the centre mark.
c After a goal has been scored the game shall restart from the corresponding goal with all skaters of the scoring side in their own half.
d After any other stoppage the game shall be re started by the referee dropping the ball at a point nearest to where it was when play was suspended.
The referee shall not drop the ball within 2 metres of the lines marking the goal areas or within 2 metres of surrounding walls, side lines or barricades, if in use.
a The ball has crossed the goal line or the barricades surrounding the playing area;
b the timekeeper, if appointed, has given the signal for half or full time;
c the game has been stopped by the referee;
