Precautions while using Nail Paint

A few safety precautions you must know before you start doing your Nail Paint.
21. Nail polish remover
Nail polish is removed with nail pads or nail polish remover, which is an organic solvent, but may also include oils, scents and coloring. Nail polish remover packages may include individual felt pads soaked in remover, a bottle of liquid remover that can be used with a cotton ball or cotton pad, and even containers filled with foam that can be used by inserting a finger into the container and twisting until the polish comes off.
22. nail polish are not undisputed
The health risks associated with nail polish are not undisputed. According to Paul Foster, Ph.D., a senior fellow at theNational Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (a division of the National Institutes of Health, under the U.S.Department of Health and Human Services), The amount of chemicals used in animal studies is probably a couple of hundred times higher than what youd be exposed to from using nail polish every week or so. So the chances of any individual phthalate producing such harm [in humans] is very slim
23. Apply a coat of your favorite nail polish
Dont worry about it going over the edge of you nails and on to your cuticles and the surrounding skin. In a way this is like a painter learning to control their brush or a guitarist learning how to wrap their fingers around the neck of the guitar and press the frets. Some people are better naturally at this than others, but pretty much anyone can train themselves.
24. Wait for it to dry
Make sure it is completely dry. Have you ever bought that beautiful nail polish only to get home and find you can only paint with your dominant hand? Most women have! This can be really frustrating and quite disappointing, but with some practice and a few good tips, youll be showing off the latest lacquers! You dont necessarily need nail polish remover to get rid of the varnish on your skin. Wash your hands and pat them dry and apply some oil to your cuticles and any skin that has polish on it. Let it sit on the skin for a moment or so then lightly scrape with a tooth pick in a down ward motion (it should come away easily). Rub the remaining oil into your cuticles.
25. Apply a second coat
Again dont worry about not being neat. The idea here is to find a comfortable way of holding the brush and begin to practice painting your nails using that form. Your hand will slowly adjust to being used in that way, meaning you will start to feel in control of the steadiness and pressure over time.
26. Wash your hands in the water and massage the skin around your nails
Gently rub your fingers with an old sponge or cloth. To start, if you are using colour, apply a good base coat. Keep in mind that dark polishes stand out, as does red and metallic polishes show up mistakes easily. Solid colours and chunky glitter are forgiving. It is recommended that you use a clear nail strengthening varnish, for a couple of reasons.
27. Choose a nail polish in the colour of your choice
Choose a colour that reflects your mood or matches what youre wearing that day. Remember that darker colours like purple, black or dark red will make your nails appear smaller, so you should only choose these colors if your nails are quite long. You should also choose a nail polish that isnt too old older nail polishes will become thick and gloopy and youll find them harder to paint your nails with.
28. Pick a place to paint
When choosing a place to paint your nails, go for a clean, stable surface in a well lit room. A study desk or the kitchen table are good options, just make sure to put some paper towel beneath your hand so you dont get any polish on the surface. The room should also be well ventilated, as fumes from nail polish and nail polish remover are not good for your health.
29. Gather the necessary supplies
Gather some cotton balls or rounds, some q tips, nail polish remover, nail clippers, a nail file, a cuticle stick and a bottle of clear nail polish. Having all of these items easily at hand will speed up the nail painting process and minimize the chances of you smudging a nail. Once finished polishing all of your nails on that hand, let them dry thoroughly. You avoid messing up your nail polish if youre willing to wait before you varnish the other hand.
30. Take off any old polish
Soak a cotton ball or round in some nail polish remover and hold it against the nail for ten seconds. Then swipe the cotton ball along the nail to remove the polish. Use a q tip soaked in nail polish remover to get rid of any polish trapped around the edges. Itll serve as a protective coat and help keep your nails strong as you practice polishing regularly.
