11. Ian Gould
Best known as Gunner by his colleagues and people around him, Ian Gould was born in England in the year 1957. He has gone on to represent England as an international umpire and has been quite successful at the high levels. Gould has also represented the English team that used his services of being a left handed wicket keeper batsman. Interestingly, Ian Gould has had amazing football connections too. He has represented one of Englands best clubs Arsenal as a goalkeeper, which is why he is nicknamed Gunner. His first test as an umpire was in 2008 when he officiated a game between South Africa and Bangladesh. However, he made is umpire debut in ODIs much earlier in 2006 in a game between England and Sri Lanka. Gould has had a good international career as an umpire, standing in 30 tests and 73 ODIs so far. However, he was much talked about in his early days when he wrongly gave Sachin out on 99 at the Rose Bowl in 2007 in a game between India and England. But all that played down, and Gould has crafted a decent career till today.
12. Kumar Dharmasena
He was part of Sri Lankas national team for over a decade. He was a member of Sri Lankas ICC CWC 1996 winning team. He retired from competitive cricket in 2006 to pursue a career in umpiring. He was Sri Lankas youngest ever international umpire on his debut in an ODI in 2009. He also officiated in the ICC CWC 2011. The all rounder is also qualified to be a coach. In May 2011 he was selected for the Elite Umpires Panel
13. Steve Davis
Played grade cricket for West Torrens CC in Adelaide. He made his ODI debut as an umpire in 1992. Has officiated at ICC CWC 2007 and 2011, ICC U19 CWC 2006 and 2008, ICC World T20 2007 and ICC Womens World Cup 2009. When not umpiring, he works as a human resource consultant.
14. Marais Erasmus
Played in 53 first class games between 1988 1996 in South Africa. He was inducted into the ICCs Emirates International Panel of Umpires in August 2008 and was promoted to the ICC Emirates Elite Umpire Panel in 2010. His T20I debut as an umpire was in 2006. Served as an umpire in the ICC WT20 2009 and 2010, as well as ICC CWC 2011.
15. Richard Illingworth
He has played domestic cricket for Worcestershire, Derbyshire and Natal. He was appointed to the ECB full list of first class umpires for the 2006 English cricket season. He was promoted to the ICC International list on November 2009. Appointed to the ICC Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires in 2013.
16. Richard Kettleborough
He is a former first class cricketer who played 33 matches for Yorkshire and Middlesex. He was a left handed opener making seven half centuries and one century. The ECB added him to their list of umpires in 2006. He was one of the umpires at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 In May 2011 he was selected for the Elite Umpires Panel.
17. Nigel Llong
He was a left hand batsman and off spinner with Kent during the 1990s. He started umpiring in 2000, joining the English first class panel in 2002. He stood in the first Twenty20 international in England in 2005. He was inducted into the ICCs Emirates International Panel of Umpires in 2006. He officiated at the ICC CWC 2011.
18. Bruce Oxenford
He played eight first class matches for Queensland from 1991 1993 as a lower order right hand batsman and leg break and googly bowler. Became a first class umpire in November 2001. Was inducted into the ICCs Emirates International Panel of Umpires in 2007 08. Appointed to the ICC Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires in 2012.
19. Paul Reiffel
Born: Box Hill, Victoria, Australia He was part of Australias victorious 1999 World Cup team. He made his first class umpiring debut in the 2004 2005 season after first umpiring in Melbourne grade cricket in 2002. He joined the Cricket Australia National Umpires Panel in the 2005 2006 season. He made his international umpiring debut in a ODI on February 2009.
20. Rod Tucker
He has played domestic cricket for New South Wales and Tasmania. After his playing career ended, he turned to umpiring and was promoted to the ICCs Emirates International Panel of Umpires in 2010. He made his ODI and T20I debut in 2009 in the series between Australia and South Africa played in Australia. Umpired at the ICC WT20 2009 and 2010, as well as ICC CWC 2011.
