If you do not like the food that is served, keep silent and try to eat a little amount of it.

Don't slouch or place your elbows on the table while eating, you may however keep your elbows on the table while conversing between courses.

While dining, put your cell phone on silent. If you wish to attend an urgent call, excuse yourself from the table and move slightly to talk.

Always put the fork and the knife handles parallely in the 4 O'clock position towards the right rim of the plate.

The blade of the knife should always be inwards and the fork tines may be up or down.

Always fold the soiled napkin, dirty parts inside and place on the left side of your plate.
19. Ending the meal d
Never try to clean up things that have spilt on the table with your napkin. Politely ask the server to clean and bring a replacement for the soiled napkin or if any piece of cutlery has fallen off the table.

Whenever a lady leaves the table or returns, all men who are seated with her should stand up. Do not forget to thank the host
