21. St Mary Cathedral
The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Mary is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney and the seat of the Archbishop of Sydney, currently Anthony Fisher OP.The cathedral is dedicated to Mary, Help of Christians, Patroness of Australia.St Mary?s holds the title and dignity of a minor basilica, bestowed upon it by Pope Pius XI on 4 August 1932.St Mary has the greatest length of any church in Australia (although it is neither the tallest nor the largest overall).It is located on College Street in the heart of the City of Sydney where, despite the high rise development of the Sydney central business district (CBD), its imposing structure and twin spires make it a landmark from every direction.In 2008, St Mary Cathedral became the focus of World Youth Day 2008 and was visited by Pope Benedict XVI.
22. Goat Island
Goat Island is a rocky island in Sydney Harbour, in New South Wales, Australia.The island is approximately 300m wide in a north or south direction and 180m long in an east or west direction. It covers an area of 5.4 hectares (13 acres) The island is located north west of the Sydney central business district.Goat Island lies off the shores of the Sydney suburbs of Balmain and Millers Point, at the junction of Darling Harbour with the main channel of Sydney Harbour.Over the years Goat Island has served as a quarry, convict stockade, explosives store, police station, fire station, boatyard and film set.Today the island forms part of the Sydney Harbour National Park.
23. Cockatoo Island
Cockatoo Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located at the junction of the Parramatta and Lane Cove rivers, in Sydney Harbour, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.Cockatoo Island is the largest of several islands that were originally heavily timbered sandstone knolls.Originally the Island rose to 18 metres (59 ft) above sea level and was 12.9 hectares (32 acres) but it has been extended to 17.9 hectares (44 acres) and is now cleared of most vegetation. Called Wa rea mah by the Indigenous Australians who traditionally inhabited the land prior to European settlement, the island may have been used as a fishing base, although physical evidence of Aboriginal heritage has not been found on the island.
24. Vaucluse House
Vaucluse House is a historic estate in Gothic Revival style in the harbourside suburb of Vaucluse in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.The suburb takes its name from this house.Vaucluse House is a 19th century estate with house, kitchen wing, stables and outbuildings, surrounded by 28 acres (9 hectares) of formal gardens and grounds.It is managed by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales as a museum that is open to the public.

World Tower is a 230 m (750 ft) skyscraper located at 91 Liverpool Street, Sydney, Australia.The building is the tallest residential building in the city since 2004.Construction began in 2001 and was completed in 2004.It was constructed by Meriton Apartments Pty Ltd, which is owned by developer Harry Triguboff.World Tower was the 2004 Bronze recipient of the Emporis Skyscraper Award, and was briefly Australia tallest residential building.The architect was Nation Fender Katsalidis.
26. Sydney Heritage Fleet
Sydney Heritage Fleet, also known as the Sydney Maritime Museum, is a private not for profit museum located in Darling Harbour (James Craig) and in Rozelle Bay (Heritage dockyard) Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.The Fleet restores and operates a large number of historic vessels including the barque James Craig.

The Sydney Markets are a commercial enterprise in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.Sydney Markets are located in the Inner West suburb of Flemington, 16 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Strathfield.The market is the primary delivery service of these products for Sydney.The market has a wholesale sales section that caters to larger business and general sales to the public.The market is the central marketplace for Sydney farmers to sell their products.It has a history dating back to 1788.
28. Cadmans Cottage
Cadmans Cottage is the oldest surviving residential building in Sydney, having been built in 1816 for the use of the governmental coxswains and their crews.The building is heavily steeped in the history of Sydney, also claiming the title as the first building to have been built on the shoreline of The Rocks area.It is claimed that during high tide, the water would come within 8 feet (2.4 m) of Cadmans Cottage however, due to the reclamation of land during the building of Circular Quay, the waterline has moved about 100 metres away since 1816.The building has had several different uses in its lifetime first and foremost as the abode of the four governmental coxswains (from 1816 until 1845).
29. Government House
Government House is located in Sydney alongside the Royal Botanic Gardens, overlooking Sydney Harbour, just south of the Sydney Opera House.Constructed between 1837 and 1843, the property has been the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales since Sir George Gipps in 1845, except for two brief periods the first between 1901 to 1914, when the property was leased to the Commonwealth of Australia as the residence of the Governor General of Australia, and the second from 1996 to 2011.The property was returned as the Governor residence in October 2011 and was managed by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales from March 1996 to December 2013.
30. Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre
The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre closed in December 2013 to make way for the new Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct at Darling Harbour, due to be completed for the end of 2016. An interim facility for large consumer and trade shows, Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island, opened in February 2014 and will operate during the construction of the new Darling Harbour facilities.The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre was located in Sydney Darling Harbour near the Central Business District.The site of the building was adjacent to Cockle Bay, Tumbalong Park and the Harbourside shopping centre.
