21. Tobacco
Just when you thought you had to source your vices individually, along comes this neat little package to help you kill yourself much more easily. You get all the health risks of tobacco along with the fattening sugar hit of chocolate.
22. Curry Coconut
Despite my unwillingness to branch too far from home on the chocolate front, I will accept that quite often, coconut can be a wonderful addition to chocolate. Curry on the other hand; 3 questions? Why? Why? And Why?
23. Gin and Tonic
I know that the world is becoming a place where all races are said to be melting in to one and one day in the future there will be no such things as racism. Im all for that. But we dont have to mix flavours that dont need to be together too
24. Pigs Blood
This could be the worst of this list. What possible merit could there be in having the blood from a pig included in the list of unnecessary ingredients of chocolate? The blood is mixed with cinnamon and smoked Spanish paprika just to give it a bit of class.
25. Black Garlic
Black garlic is apparently a big deal in a lot of Asian cuisine. But I dont discriminate between the colours of garlic; I love the stuff. And yet again I find myself back to square one with it. Why do we need to put it in chocolate?
26. Absinthe
This has all sorts of things in the mix. Its a truffle that has dark chocolate ganache with pear, fennel and anise seed..and also absinthe liqueur. Why would that be necessary? I hear you ask. Nobody knows.
27. Zinfandel Balsamic
I am sure we are all totally cool with a bit of wine flavour incorporated in to our chocolate. It means we dont have to have a glass of wine to go with our chocolate (a perfect combo). But what is the deal with putting balsamic in the mix?
28. Kimchi
Do you know what kimchi is? It is actually quite delicious despite the following description; a Korean dish consisting of fermented cabbage, possibly laced with garlic and or chili. So yeah, stick that in some chocolate
29. Hummus
I bet a lot of people in the Western world thought that the introduction of hummus would be fleeting; that it was a fad not unlike Pokemon. As it turns out, in some parts of the world, it is a staple. But why it has to be put in to chocolate I will never grasp. To be fair, it could be a bit of a horse and cart thing where people might claim it to be chocolate flavoured hummus.
