Makeover Tips For Hair

1. Makeover
A makeover is a term applied to changing ones appearance, sometimes through cosmetics. Makeovers can range from something as simple as a new haircut, to the use of cosmetic surgery, to the extreme of the implantation of dental veneers, eye color changing contact lenses, and the use of appearance altering gastric bypass surgeries, providing massive, permanent fat loss in obese persons, and the associated plastic surgeries, such as abdominoplasty, to eliminate the resulting loose hanging skin folds.A makeunder is based on the opposite principle removing artificial enhancements to a persons appearance to give a more natural look.
Makeover. The word can mean a variety of things to different people. Some people just think it means makeup application. And a lot of people think it sounds out of their reach, like the makeover shows you see on TV. Makeovers are not just for rich & famous or the lucky few that end up on television. As a Style Coach, I work with clients of all ages, sizes, and incomes to define and create unique hair, makeup and clothing styles based on their lifestyles and personalities. All of my makeovers begin with a consultation. I like to understand my clients lifestyles how much time do you have to get yourself ready every day? How much time can you invest in maintaining your look? This ensures that the end result is not only beautiful but something you can maintain moving forward.Next I study the shape of your face. Many women tend to exaggerate, for example, that they have a big, round face. And in the process they dont notice their long, beautiful neck and lovely eyes. All of these details make a difference in selecting the right hair cut. The right hair cut will accentuate the most positive elements of your face. I will also identify the best hair color and/or highlights that will compliment your skin tone, your hair cut and your overall look. Its not just about how your hair looks at the end but whether or not you can recreate the look, which is why I take the time to teach my clients how to blow dry and style their hair.A makeover doesnt mean you have to buy all new makeup.
In fact, I encourage my clients to bring their makeup bag with them so I can show them how to use what they already have. I will also teach you what colors look best on you and teach you tips and tricks to highlight your features.Last but not least, what to wear! Again its not just about buying new clothes I can help you work within your existing closet to identify great looks, but I also love to go shopping with my clients. My mission is to teach you how to shop and dress smart for your shape and size while emphasizing your best features and concealing your not-so-favorite spots. Depending upon your needs and budget we can shop for an entire new wardrobe or a few key pieces to get you started. But the most important part of the makeover process is within you: deciding how much change you want to make and if youll be comfortable with the change.
2. Cleanliness is Important
The most important reason for hair fall is dandruff and itchy scalp. Therefore, maintain good cleanliness for beautiful and healthy hair.Be clean, be stylish, from top to toe. Often, while considering personal hygiene, the hair is neglected. However, many a time, the hair gets dirtier than the body. For this reason, attention must be given ones crowning glory.Wash your hair atleast twice a week, with a suitable shampoo. Never use soap, because Sodium bicarbonate, which soap is rich in, is horrible for the hair.Dry your hair after a wash. However, do not blow dry too often, as this kills the roots of the hair follicles.Oil the scalp once a week. Coconut oil is excellent nutrition for the hair.Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of your hair salon when striving towards success. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and having a spotless hair salon will keep it ahead of the competition, and will provide a comfortable and enjoyable setting for your clients.A clean hair salon, in conjunction with great hair salon services, will keep clients returning again and again. A clean hair salon will also keep your hair salon within city and state compliance, and will prevent your customers from harm. Always keep cleanliness as one of your hair salons main goals to achieve a great looking, safe, and successful hair salon.
3. Make Your Conditioner
For a protein packed conditioner, mix eggs and yogurt and rub it into your scalp. Leave on for five or 10 minutes, and then wash it off completely. When my hair conditioner ran out before I found another clearance deal, I decided to see if I could make my own. After a few rounds of experimenting, I ended up with a conditioner that I like better than any commercial conditioner that Ive ever tried. It takes me less than five minutes to make costs very little to put together; and leaves even my oldest daughters crazy long locks easy to brush. I also love that I know exactly whats in it and that I can pick a different fragrance every time I make it.
4. Lemon Juice
After the final rinse of shampoo, apply 1 tsbp lemon juice to your hair. Simply towel dry your hair and style as normal to get rid of dry hair.Although this tip is more Summer centric, as long as you have some lemons and the sun, it will work anytime, anyday. This is a tip my mom taught me a long, long time ago when I was barely a teen, and my friend and I used to do this sometimes in the summer before hanging by the pool.Basically, lemon is a great natural bleach, and it can bleach your hair ever so slightly so it looks totally natural. Whether youre just looking for some highlights while youre hanging out in the sun, or want to lighten your overall color, lemon is a great, easy, natural way. Even better, its super cheap.

6. Brushing Technique
Avoid using a comb with plastic bristles to prevent hair breakage from static electricity. The best way to brush your hair is by first brushing the ends to remove tangles and then take the long stokes from the roots of the hair to the ends. Your hair is very flexible when damp, and brushing it can make it break. Only brush straight hair when its dry. However, if you have curly or kinky hair, you should only comb or brush it when its wet to avoid breakage, says the AAD.Wait until your hair is almost dry before using a brush to style it if you blow dry your hair. Not only is this less damaging to your hair, says skincare expert Paula Begoun, its simply easier to style slightly damp hair than it is wet hair. To achieve maximum smoothness, you may need to blow dry and brush your hair at various levels of almost dry to find out what works best.Brush your hair less, not more. The AAD points out that contrary to what you may believe, brushing your hair with vigorous, powerful strokes damages it. Keep brushing and styling to a minimum. Also, never use your hair brush to rat or backcomb your hair, Begoun advises. Not only does this type of hair style date you, its extremely bad for your hair.
7. Let Your Hair Air dry
Allow your hair to dry by itself instead of using a blow-dryer or hot rollers. Using this artificial mode of drying technique will make your hair more brittle and dry. Finally, when you wet your hair, the fibers swell; when you dry it quickly, the fibers contract, causing cuticles to crack.

9. Moisturize your Hair With Beer
Pour a little beer in your wet hair. Distribute evenly and massage your scalp with your fingers for 20 minutes. Then rinse it thoroughly to get rid of the beer smell. Do this procedure once a week for salon smooth hair. It is recommended that people with sinus and cold should avoid using this treatment. Is using beer on your hair something that only Birkenstock-wearing nature enthusiasts and barefoot hippies do during their once weekly baths, or could it be an accessible, affordable hair remedy for the rest of us? Beer hair is actually not a bad look. I know first hand from a college party long ago, when my head got a spontaneous keg shower. The next morning, I awoke to find shiny, healthy looking hair far from the sticky, hard mess that accompanies an inadvertent hair dip in my cocktail. What is it about beer that may benefit your hair?Besides getting compliments on your luscious locks from beer goggle wearing guys in bars, there might be much more that beer can do for the well being of your hair. As we discovered with the effects of beer on skin, there are special components within beer that are better for your body than any old carbonated beverage. When you soak, rinse, or spritz your hair with beer, its natural ingredients coat each strand and lend hair nourishing benefits. In addition to B vitamins, the proteins found in malt and hops are said to repair damaged hair and boost overall body. Meanwhile, the maltose and sucrose sugars in beer tighten the hairs cuticles for enhanced shine.Although it is debatable whether the corn, rice, or wheat protein in beer can actually deposit on your hair to form a strengthening film, there is no question that it makes hair seem thicker. This effect may be attributed to the proteins left on the hair fiber, though beer also seems to slightly swell the hair shaft. Ideal for fine hair, an at-home beer solution is an economical alternative to the $20-40 thickening tonics on the market, since it kills two birds with one stone adding extra volume while at the same time coating the cuticles with shine. When experimenting with beer as a hair product, it is recommended to use traditional brewed beer made from hops to maximize nutrients and minimize chemicals (since most commercial beers are loaded with stuff you probably shouldnt be putting in your body, let alone your hair).
If youd prefer to pay someone else to package your beer in a hair preparation, there are more than enough products to choose from in the haircare market. Lush makes an entirely vegan Cynthia Sylvia shampoo composed of organic Irish stout and lemons for smoothing cuticles and boosting volume. British Linco Beer Shampoo & Conditioner is developed with natural hops to lend hair healthy looking body and shine. Formulated for fine or fragile hair, Logona Volume Honey Beer Shampoo touts beer as its second ingredient. The South Korean Skinfood Hop Beer Hair Wash & Conditioner combines beer ingredients with copper peptide, vitamin-H, and herbal extracts to clarify the hair and prevent hair loss.
