Make your home like a hotel

Make your home like a hotel ,this guide to getting the sumptuous hotel-feel at home.
51. A Dark and Light Room
Designer Mary McDonald covered one wall in the bedroom of a Los Angeles home in Ralph Lauren gray suiting wool to make it feel cozy, but painted the other walls Alabaster by SherwinWilliams to keep it light. Bed linens are from WilliamsSonoma. Pillows are of vintage silk necktie fabrics from F&S Fabrics.
52. Bedroom in Smokey Neutrals
Designer Frank DelleDonne designed the headboard and covered it in Royal Suede by Edelman Leather. Sferra bedding; Ralph Lauren blanket.
53. A Colorful Boys Room
In this little boys room, designed by Ken Fulk Design, the bedding is Frettes Hotel Collection. The ceiling is painted Robins Egg by Philips Perfect Colors, and the wainscoting is Benjamin Moores Decorators White.
54. Coastal
Hanging for decades in the this same spot, the chandelier in the master bedroom of a Northern Michigan lake cottage was freshened with paint. The fourposter beds headboard is in Ralph Laurens Coastal Stripe in Yellow & White. The homeowners stools were painted bright white then reupholstered in Raoul Textiles Chunari in Blue Willow. Its not supposed to be tremendously sophisticated just fun and easy and simple, designer Tom Stringer says.
55. Shades of Color
Designer Mona Ross Berman used quieter shades of her colorful palette in the guest room of a New Jersey beach house.
56. Antique Pink Patina
The faded pink walls and creamcolored curtains in designer Penelope Bianchis bedroom continue the overall Mediterraneanstyle seen throughout her Santa Barbara, California home. With her love of antique fabrics, an 18thcentury toile purchased off of eBay for $140 is a favorite find that she uses on her bed.
57. A Moroccan Bedroom
The bed in this bedroom designed by Gene Meyer and Frank de Biasi is a tour de force of traditional Moroccan woodwork, custommade in Marrakech. The bedspread is handwoven in Tangier.
58. Clean White
To add a beachyvibe to her crisp, white bedroom, designer Carolyn EspleyMiller hung an old seafoam barn door above her bed.
59. Wild Sage
The master bedroom has a wild sage color on the painted bench and again on the bed, designer Ginger Barber says of this house in Round Top, Texas. I love it against the crisp white linen and whitewashed walls.
60. A Guest Room with Character
Designer Tom Stringer used antique French steel beds warmed by gold and whitedotted quilts in this guest room.
