21. Radha Krishna
Radharani is a tenderhearted feminine counterpart of the supreme whole, resembling the perfectional stage of the worldly feminine nature. Therefore, the mercy of Radharani is available very readily to the sincere devotees, and once she recommends such a devotee to Lord Krishna, the Lord at once accepts the devotee s admittance into His association. ?Srila Prabhupada (Bhagavatam 2.3.23) The concept of God completes with his energies and the God himself. Both the aspects of God exist with Him and are even indistinguishable. Such is the relation of Radha Krishna. One of the most beloved gopis of Lord Krishna was the Radha. In fact, she was the powerhouse of energy for Him. The timeless beauty, Radha was Krishna s eternal consort. Like the moon and moonlight and flowers and fragrance, Radha Krishna is one. They are like one soul in two bodies! Actually, Radha embodies the totality of love for Krishna. She personifies Bhakti for the Lord. Indeed, she herself was the loving devotion to God. She awakes us to the love of Krishna. The amour of Radha Krishna was quite famous and indeed a legend of all times. There are many paintings and illustrations in India depicting the most memorable love affair of Radha Krishna. We even find the allegorical love of Radha Krishna in books of literature like some of the great poetical works of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Govinda Das and Jayadeva, the one who has penned Geet Govinda ?about Lord Krishna and Radhaji. Radhaji s love for Lord Krishna is interpreted as the quest for the union with the divine. According to Vaishnavas (followers of Lord Vishnu), the kind of love like that of Radha was the highest form of devotion where human soul wants to unite with the ultimate Supreme or Almighty. The ecstatic love relation between Radha Krishna was like beloved and lover or husband and wife. Radha Krishna is the male and female aspects of God. Known as the Divine Couple, together they are the full manifestation of God
