11. Maintain the tyre pressure
Driving your vehicle with correct tyre pressure is one of the most essential driving tips to improve mileage and save fuel. The owner's manual recommend correct tyre pressure and you need to strictly follow the same for flawless safe ride and enhanced fuel efficiency.
12. Avoid doing multi tasks while driving
Never use a cell phone while driving even for seeing who is calling / reading a text. Do not do activities like applying makeup, adjusting your music system, combing your hairs, taking your coat off or changing clothes.
13. Listen music at a reasonable volume
Music is good companion while driving, but keeping volume too loud or using earplugs or headphones while on the road can be distracting and can prevent you from hearing a warning or the siren of emergency vehicles. So enjoy the music at low volume.
14. Take care of children
Put seat belts on your kids and use the child locks, quietly concentrate on the road regardless of how much they try to rile you up. It's also advisable to put sign board "Children on board", this will help other drivers to be extra careful.

18. Spare Tyre
Often we ignore checking the spare tyre. Do check your spare tyre before making any long journey. Also, check if the jack is still working. If you have wheel locks installed, make sure you have the key and the wrench to open the wheel nuts.
19. Emergency Kit
You must have a basic emergency kit for your car, it may include simple tool kit with screwdrivers, pliers and set of most common sockets.Consider also spare headlight bulb and a couple of fuses, a bottle of engine oil, windshield washer fluid and antifreeze, emergency stop sign or flares, duct tape, electrical tape, spare ignition key etc.
20. Rule out skidding
Take precautions to rule out skidding during rainy seasons. Replace cracked tyres, check air pressure and make sure the wheels are properly balanced and aligned. This will prevent your car from skidding on a wet road.
