Best outdoor Cinema in the world

The summer holidays are upon us, along with drawn out sunny days,
11. The Galileo Cape Town South Africa
One of the latest additions to the world s outdoors cinemas, Galileo will open its third season at the end of this year during the South African summer in November and will run until next April. The cinema is located against the scenic backdrop of Table Mountain in the V&A Waterfront and film buffs can look forward to a season that will include a number of extreme sports films, documentaries and blockbusters.
12. Cinema d ete Monaco
Glitzy, glam and utterly beguiling not only are these adjectives perfectly appropriate to describe Monaco, but they ring equally true for the swanky outdoor cinema hosted on the Rock of Monaco during the summer. Overlooked by the 460ft tall monolith and the Prince of Monaco s impressive 12th century palace, open air movies don t get any more stylish than this. Performances run until September with a different film every night.
13. Luna Cinema London UK
Fans of Battersea Power Station will have one last chance to enjoy a film in the parkland surrounding the industrial beast this summer, before it is closed down as part of a major redevelopment. Luna Cinema is renowned for its open air screenings across the land including Lincoln Castle, Ascot Racecourse and Hampton Court Palace but it is Battersea that gets the biggest thumbs up from us with its September line up of American Hustle and Django Unchained.
