Get Up nice and early
1. Get up early, Take a quick morning shower if needed. .....
Get Dressed
2. Get fully dressed, especially if you are going to work. Wear nice clothing. Do not wear house rags or dirty t-shirts. If you are a guy, consider wearing a nice black or white shirt with a tie, nice black pants with dark socks, and black shoes. If you are a lady, you should wear a dress with pants and pretty shoes. You can wear a t-shirt to work, but make sure the t-shirt has no stains. .....
Eat Something
3. Eat a good breakfast. Pop a piece of toast in the toaster and have at least three egg whites with your breakfast. Have a good breakfast with good carbs, good fats, and protein. The combination will keep you satisfied longer. A six ounce glass of orange juice is a good beverage to have with breakfast. However, it is full of sugar and should be drank in moderation. Oatmeal, cereal, or a banana are all good carbs to eat when you start your morning. .....
Brush Your Teeth After You Eat Breakfast
4. Brush them well. Take your time while brushing your teeth. There is no reason whatsoever to rush. .....
Brush Your Hair
5. You can not go to work if your hair is an enormous, static, mess. Brush your hair well, taking care to gently remove any knots or tangles in longer tresses. Do not rush. .....
Gather everything you need together
6. Gather your books, suitcases, or anything you need for work together, preferably the night before. Dont hurry, and make sure you have everything before you leave. .....
Plan Ahead
7. The night before your early gym sesh, pick out your outfit and have it perfectly laid out and ready for you. Everything you plan to wear , you do not want to waste your time searching for matching socks in the morning. .....
Run Around
8. If you can cut off a few minutes getting to and from the gym, do it. Instead of walking to the gym and starting your workout when you get there, do a warm up jog to get there and back. If your gym has a decent locker room, get in the habit of getting ready for work at the gym, it will save you a lot of time commuting back and forth from the gym, even if it is just a few blocks away. .....
Less is More
9. Of course it depends where you work and what you are expected to look like while there, but think of ways to simplify your beauty routine. With your makeup, do you really need to spend as much time as you currently do primping? Perhaps you can spend less time on your eyeliner and still look completely presentable for work. Hair Time Savers
10. If you are used to blow drying and ironing your hair each morning, try a new look for morning gym days. If you are always fighting your curly hair, try to tame and embrace your natural hair. Quick tips as soon as you are out of the shower put in curling creme , and do not use a towel to dry it, use a t-shirt instead . Either let it air dry , or use a diffuser. If you are not going for the curly and wavy look, try a sock bun. When done correctly .....

11. Do as much as you can the night before!Pick out your outfit in the evening. I have a hook on the back of the bathroom door where I hang my complete outfit. My husband is still asleep in the am. So, it would be impossible to pick out clothes in the dark! I even lay out my shoes with the socks already inside. Pack your lunch the night before.Pick out your color cosmetics the night before. Weekly Items
12. Some of my get ready tasks are done once a week! This really cuts time in the mornings:Ironing: I generally do any ironing for the week on Sundays. I pick out, generally what I want to wear that week and iron what needs to be ironed . I hang the outfits on hooks that I put up in my bedroom. The night before I just transfer one of those outfits from my bedroom hook to the one on the bathroom door. This may seem like a lot to do ahead of time, BUT, .....
Other random tips
13. Grab and Go breakfast items: I love Greek Yogurt, Quaker Oatmeal Breakfast squares, and frozen egg and cheese bisquits for those super early mornings. On those days, I skip breakfast at home and either eat a breakfast bar in the car or heat up an egg biscuit at work to have while going through my morning emails. I referenced this in the tips above, but have a special little dish or jar in your bathroom for the primary purpose of setting your jewe .....
Get The Shower Going
