Although the games may become intense, you still can be competitive while maintaining good sportsmanship. With this said, any behavior deemed unacceptable by staff may result in suspension andor ejection from a game or the league.
13. Staff
To coordinate and run the league, a staff member will be available at all times to help the league run as smoothly as possible. If you have questions regarding schedules, policies, rule interpretations, directions to the bar, etc. please ask.
14. Prizes
The top teams in each division will receive a prize of great emotional, spiritual, and most importantly, social value. These policies are designed to make the league run as smoothly and safely as possible, and provide continuity for its participants. Each player in the league is responsible for this information please advise your team of these rules and thanks for playing.
15. Players on the ground
You can only throw the ball while in the air. Any player that is tagged with the ball is then out. The last person standing is the winner of the competition. The players that get knocked out early help return the ball to the player on the trampoline.
16. You can also have a tournament
In tournaments, you play until there is only one person left standing. All the ones who are out must get off of the trampoline until the next round starts. You can have regular or poison tournaments. These are more fun if there are more than 4 people playing.
17. Handler
This is the primary ball handler on the team. It is his job to run the offense and organize the other members while controlling the flow of the game. Typically he would be responsible to set up the gunners to attack the basket while adding in his own offensive threat, comparable to a point guard in basketball.
18. Gunner
The primary scorer on the team. A teams gunner will be the player on the team that will attack the basket and finish plays against the opposing teams stopper, comparable to a forward or wing player in soccer or hockey.
19. Stopper
This position is for the primary defensive player. He trails the offense only when necessary, and he protects the rim from attacking players by using himself as a shield. Goaltending is legal if the shot attempt is from inside the trampoline area.
20. Team size
A team consists of a maximum of 12 players on the court, with a minimum of 3 females on co ed teams. The total team size will always be dictated by how many players from the roster show up, but no team may ever field more than 12 players during a match. The breakdown of players is set by the golden ratio of 31 (males to females). At the start of each game (not match), each team can field 3 males for every 1 female. Making sure that their team complies with this ratio is the responsibility of each teams own captain.
