rules to play 15 ball pool

The rack
1. All 15 object balls (the numbered balls) are racked together, with the 15 ball at the front point of the triangle. Unlike in 8 ball, it doesnt matter how the numbers or solids and stripes are configured in the triangle. .....
Shooting
2. Fifteen ball is played one on one, trading turns after each shot. The shooter must pocket a ball on every shot. Whether you make it or not, turns change after one attempt. .....
Fouls
3. If the cue ball goes in a pocket at any time, its called a foul or scratch. When this happens, any balls that were pocketed during the scratch are removed and placed back on the table. In pool, this is called being spotted. Spotted balls are returned to the table on the long side as close to the foot spot they can be without disturbing any other balls. .....
Points
4. Each ball is worth its number in points. The shooter collects the points for each ball he pockets, and the first player to reach 61 points is the winner. .....
Find an open table
5. If there is an open table, snag it by placing your quarters into the slot and dispensing the balls. .....
Decide on rules
6. Decide on teams and house rules, like if a shot has to be called for it to count. .....
Rack balls
7. Rack the balls by arranging them in an alternating pattern, or stripes and solids, with the 15 ball in the middle. .....
Tighten rack
8. Tighten the rack by rolling it back and forth a few times, then move the front tip to the black rack mark on the table and remove the frame. .....
Break the rack
9. The first player or team breaks the rack by hitting the white cue ball from the opposite rack mark at the balls. .....
Shoot again
10. If a ball goes in on the break, the player takes another shot, now aiming for whichever type stripe or solid he got in. .....
Alternate shots
11. If the player doesnt sink a ball on the break, players alternate shots until someone does. .....
Continue until missed shot
12. A players turn continues until he misses a shot. .....
If a player sinks the cue ball
13. If a player sinks the white cue ball, the opposing player takes over shooting. He may place the cue ball anywhere on one side of the table between the rack mark and the fence, and may only strike a ball on the opposite side of the table. .....
If a player sinks the 15 ball
14. If the 15 ball is unintentionally sunk during normal play, the other player automatically wins. .....
Scoring
15. Any ball legally pocketed counts one point for the shooter. .....
Opening break
16. Starting player must either designate a ball and a pocket into which that ball will be pocketed and accomplish the shot, or cause the cue ball to contact a ball and then a cushion, plus cause two object balls to contact a cushion. Failure to meet at least one of the above requirements is a breaking violation. Offender .....
Scoring note
17. The deduction of penalty points can result in negative scores. A running score can read .....
Stalemate
18. If the referee decides that neither player is attempting to win from the current position, he will announce his decision, and each player will have three more turns at the table. Then, if the referee still feels that there is no progress towards a conclusion, he will declare a stalemate and the original breaker at the start of the game must execute a new break shot. .....
Penalties for fouls
19. One point deducted for each foul. Note: penalties are more severe for deliberate fouls (Rule of Play 6.7.5) and third .....
